About me

 My name is Hunter, I'm a third generation, published and award winning photographer in Southern Oregon.

I grew up in the Willamette Valley, ever since I can remember I had some sort of camera. When I was young I would run around with a point and shoot camera taking photos of anything that held still. I guess you could say I've always loved photography! In high school I was gifted my first DSLR. By that summer I worked up the courage to  submit a few photos I had taken into the local County and State Fair, winning several awards both at County and State level in my division. I went on to enter in both County and State Fairs for several more years after that and received numerous awards. 

After moving further south I joined a group called Portrait Slam and frequented events around the state of Oregon, meeting and working with new people and brands, leading to the establishment of my specialty... portraits! There is something emotional and provoking about the human condition. I am lucky enough to have been able to hone my skill and capture  the irreplaceable magic in moments whether it be in daily life or a special celebration, and I would be honored to captures yours next.
